Mysore to Coorg Cab for Four Days

Discover every corner of Coorg with our expert-guided sightseeing packages. Fixed rates, experienced drivers.

Mysore and Coorg 4-Day Package | 4 Days / 3 Nights Tour

Four days. Two destinations. One cab that takes care of everything in between.

Mysore and Coorg together make more sense than either one alone. You get the palaces, the history, and the city energy of Mysore, then the hills, the coffee, and the quiet of Coorg. A Mysore to Coorg cab for 4 days means no transport juggling, no last-minute bookings, just a driver who knows both routes and gets you where you need to be on time.

Before You Go—Make Your 4 Days Actually Smooth

  • Book Coorg stays in advance: Good homestays and resorts fill up fast, especially from October to February and during school holidays. Don’t leave it for the last minute.
  • Start Day 2 early: The Mysore to Coorg drive on NH 275 is best done in the morning. An early start means less traffic, and you hit Raja’s Seat before the afternoon crowd.
  • Carry light rain gear: Coorg weather changes without warning even outside monsoon. A small jacket takes up no space and saves the day.
  • Try the local food: Pandi curry and fresh estate coffee in Madikeri are non-negotiable. Ask your driver for the right spots because they always know.
  • Keep some cash handy: Smaller entry points and plantation tours don’t always have card machines.
  • Share your itinerary with your driver upfront: The more they know before Day 1, the smoother every day runs.

Day 1. Mysore: Start Where the History Is
  • Mysore Palace The scale of it hits you before you even walk in. Come back after sunset when it lights up—a completely different experience.
  • St. Philomena’s Church Gothic twin spires right in the middle of the city. Quiet, cool inside, worth the stop.
  • Chamundi Hill The drive up is half the experience. The view over Mysore from the top stays with you.
  • Brindavan Gardens End the day here. Musical fountain after sunset, good food nearby, easy wind-down.
Day 2. The Drive Into Coorg + First Stops

120 km on NH 275. The ghat section alone is worth the trip—green, misty, winding roads all the way in.

  • Raja’s Seat Panoramic valley views right in Madikeri town. Best visited around sunset.
  • Madikeri Fort 17th-century fort with a small museum inside. More interesting than it looks from outside
  • Abbey Falls Short walk through spice and coffee plants to get there. The sound of the falls hits before you see them.
  • Coffee Plantation Walk Coorg coffee at the source tastes nothing like what you get in the city. Pick up a bag before you leave.
Day 3. Coorg’s Wild Side
  • Tadiandamol Peak Highest point in Coorg. Misty forest trail, proper trekking, worth every step.
  • Dubare Elephant Camp Right on the Cauvery riverbank. Feed and interact with elephants up close, which is the highlight for most families.
  • Nisargadhama Small island, bamboo groves, deer, peaceful boat ride. There’s nothing loud or crowded about it.
  • Talacauvery & Bhagamandala Sacred source of the Cauvery River. Three rivers meeting at one point… calm, beautiful, unlike anything else on this trip.
Day 4. Slow Morning, Good Buys, Heading Home
  • Bylekuppe—Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple, the largest Tibetan settlement in South India. Completely different from everything else on this trip and genuinely worth the detour.
  • Coorg Local Markets Fresh spices, estate coffee, honey, and handmade chocolate. Buy more than you think you need.
  • Return Drop Your Mysore to Coorg cab for 4 days brings you back to Mysore or Bangalore; no separate return booking is needed.

Four days is the right amount of time to see both properly—if the cab and the plan are sorted from day one. The Mysore to Coorg cab for 4 days price confirmed upfront, with no surprises on the road.
